The Tarelkin Collection is a private collection focusing on works on paper and photography from the 20th century. What began as an archive for personal artistic inspiration has gradually evolved into a space of its own.

Artists and curators are regularly invited to create thematic exhibitions with works from the collection. The aim of these shows is to offer insights into the holdings and ideally reveal new and interesting connections between them. Currently operating without a permanent space, two exhibitions will take place each year in collaboration with established institutions and venues in Berlin and Reykjavík.
